Biale Winery Wine Dinner w/owner Dave Pramuk

In the beginning there was Zinfandel, and it was good, and there were the Three R’s of Zinfandel – Ridge, Ravenswood, and Rosenblum (RIP Kent). And then other Zinfandel disciples arose and we begat Turley, and Carlisle, and Sehesio, Shelton, Mauritson, Bedrock, and more. But arguably none of the other disciples of the original Three R’s have been at the forefront of single-site Zinfandel as much as Robert Biale Vineyards. The homestead was founded by Robert Biale’s grandfather Pietro in 1937, taken over by his father Aldo (at age 13 in 1942), and in 1991 Robert and his lifelong friend and schoolmate Dave Pramuk partnered up to found Robert Biale Winery. They have been exploring the nuance of single vineyard Zinfandel ever since, as well as iconic site field blends and Petite Sirahs, the alter egos of Zin.

Please join Dilly on Monday, October 1st as we welcome Biale Winery Founder and Partner Dave Pramuk for a special Dinner prepared by Dilly Chef Nate Roberts to match the wines! Featuring five courses, we will be featuring several of the Zins as well as Petite Sirahs and Field Blends. Nate is working on a unique and appetizing menu that we promise will not be all BBQ and Short Ribs (but maybe a little)! We are lucky to get Dave this short trip, he has one event way up north and our evening with Dilly before jetting off – you don’t want to miss this!

The five course meal is just $69 per person ALL INCLUSIVE (the wines themselves sell for ~$35 to ~$60) meaning all taxes, gratuities, even parking is built into the price.
